Take On A Challenge

Challenge Yourself!

We are incredibly humbled by the effort you put into making a difference for patients, their families and the staff of the Mater Hospital. You have raised money to help us fund life-saving equipment, upgrade facilities for patients and their families, build new hospital wards and fund ground-breaking research.

We are determined to continue our efforts to bring the very best in care to the hospital and we have some really exciting challenges coming up to help with that…

Mater Hospital Foundation's Dickie Dip

The Dickie Dip is a life-affirming skinny-dip fundraiser for male cancer care in the Mater Public Hospital, which is taking place on Saturday, 16th November in Skerries.

Join hundreds of other men wading into the sea water wearing only a dickie bow this November, you’ll be making a life-saving difference for Mater patients.

Proceeds raised will go towards providing the very best men’s cancer care in the Mater Public Hospital.

Looking for an online challenge to get you in shape for Christmas? Then why not take on our 3,000 Squats in a month challenge.

You’ll be raising funds to help provide the best in breast cancer detection and care in the Mater, making an incredible difference to our breast cancer patients.

And don’t forget our Aer Arann Islands Half Marathon – the most scenic half marathon in the country – taking place in April 2025. Booking will open shortly.

We’re always here to help! So, if you have any questions, please get in touch with us on (01) 830 3482 or email fundraising@materfoundation.ie.
